By plane and public transport
Bilbao Airport (BIO) offers direct connections with major Spanish and European cities. From the airport, the Bizkaibus A3247 service provides a direct link to central Bilbao throughout the year, stopping at Alameda Recalde, Plaza Moyúa, Gran Vía and Bilbao Intermodal. From the city centre, Bizkaia Aretoa can be reached by local public transport, taxi or on foot.

By train within Spain
Bilbao-Abando is the city’s main railway hub, with Renfe long-distance and regional services, including direct connections with Madrid. The station is at Plaza Circular in central Bilbao and connects with Metro Bilbao, local buses and commuter rail services.
